In 2011, Myanmar Youths in Action and 5 other Yangon-based youth volunteer groups joined together for relief efforts during the Pakkokku floodings. This year's June, this group has also donated more than 80 lakhs personally to the victims of the clashes in Rakhine State.
Now, with more youth groups have joined together to hold a charity funfair for educations funds for Kachin and Rakhine students. An individual group may not have the might to do these tasks, but with the unity of all youth groups, this event was organized with hopes of support from the public.
Kachin children, victims of a long-going civil war, and the Rakhine children, victims of recent communal clashes, still faces obstacles in furthering education. Therefore, your contribution will be greatly appreciated for these children to continue their education so that they can create a brighter future for themselves.
17 youth organizations have joined hands together for this event. We will be offering food to the guests at the funfair, plus many great programs such as unplugged live show with artists such as Song Oo Hlaing, Yatha, Kyat Pha, and Melody World singers, caricature drawings, nail art, tarot predictions, photo gallery, and many other fun programs for everyone!
